Transforming dentistry
with robotics
Our story
Founded in 2009, Neocis® is proud to be the first and only surgical robotics company in the dental space. We manufacture and market Yomi®, an FDA-cleared robotic system that assists clinical teams throughout all phases of implant placement.
Neocis is committed to building visionary technologies that help dental professionals deliver life-changing patient care. Our team collaborates closely with implant clinicians around the country to better understand their needs and challenges in the operatory—and this is reflected in every solution we bring to market.
2008
Neocis co-founders Alon Mozes and Juan Salcedo, principal engineers at pioneering orthopedic robotics company MAKO Surgical at the time, see an untapped opportunity to bring advanced robotics to the field of dentistry. They begin designing a prototype, which they will later name “Yomi” after a close friend and dentist who is integral to their early success.
