Dentists in Eastern Carolina are now on the cutting edge of technology for dental surgery.

Carolina Dental Specialty Center, owned by Dr. Jose Arauz, is one of the first dental offices to use the FDA-approved Yomi Robotic Dental system designed to help dental surgeons with implant procedures.

Dr. Leslie Barrilleaux, who leads Dentistry Today, purchased the Yomi Robotic Dental System for her practice. It’s the first and only FDA-cleared robotic surgical system in the U.S. It helps provide guidance and support to dental surgeons when performing implant procedures.

Dr. Robert Payne is an oral surgeon and big proponent of technology. He married the two with a robotic system called Yomi which does the hands-on work of placing dental implants. He is the only practice offering robotic surgery in Southwest Florida.
