Having just installed Yomi earlier this year, Dunedin Family Dentistry has become a leader in robot-guided implant dentistry in Pinellas County, FL. In this news segment with Bay News 9, Dr. Carver Little discusses how Yomi has helped his practice provide a more seamless, accurate treatment experience for their patients.
“What the Yomi is, is a robotic assistant implant surgical system. So, before this technology was available, implants were done in ways that were not quite as accurate,” said Dr. Little. “The robot will guide your hand according to what you’ve planned. So, it means there’s no need to cut any tissue. It’s minimally invasive, human error is removed, and it is 100% accurate. The implant goes exactly where we place it.”
