Advancing dental robotics: Neocis discusses the next phase of the Yomi S system
By Isabel Siew | Dental Asia

Alon Mozes, founder and chief executive officer of Neocis, has provided an in-depth perspective on the development of Yomi S, the company’s latest robotic assisted surgical platform. The updated system introduces new hardware, an AI-supported planning interface, and enhanced workflow features designed to address both clinical and operational challenges identified with the original Yomi model.
The original Yomi system was notable for integrating visual, audio, and haptic guidance to support precise, minimally invasive dental implant procedures. While effective, its design often required the presence of an additional assistant to input commands and facilitate communication during surgery. This requirement could complicate clinical workflow and add operational complexity, particularly in practices with limited staff. Yomi S seeks to overcome these challenges by embedding greater intelligence and user interface capabilities, enabling single-operator use and streamlining the overall workflow.
