Indications for Use

Yomi® is a computerized robotic navigational system intended to provide assistance in both the planning (preoperative) and surgical (intraoperative) phases of dental implantation surgery. The system provides software to preoperatively plan dental implantation procedures and provides robotic navigational guidance of the surgical instruments. The system can also be used for planning and performing guided bone reduction (also known as alveoplasty) of the mandible and/or maxilla. Yomi is intended for use in partially and fully edentulous adult patients who qualify for dental implants.

When YomiPlan™ software is used for preplanning on third-party PCs, it is intended to perform the planning (preoperative) phase of dental implantation surgery. YomiPlan provides preoperative planning for dental implantation procedures using the Yomi robotic system. The output of YomiPlan is to be used with the Yomi robotic system.

Contraindications
Yomi is not intended for use with patients who have insufficient bone or teeth to retain a Neocis® YomiLink™ rigidly throughout a surgical procedure.

Clinical indications

What Yomi can do
for your patients

Single tooth implants

Yomi supports precise placement for single-tooth implant cases where accuracy, angulation, and emergence profile are critical. Real-time guidance helps clinicians execute the planned implant position while allowing intraoperative adjustments as anatomy or clinical conditions evolve. This is particularly valuable in esthetic zones and anatomically constrained sites. Common uses include: Posterior single-unit replacements Anterior esthetic cases Limited interproximal or ridge width scenarios

Multiple adjacent or segmented implants

For cases requiring multiple implants within a quadrant or segment, Yomi helps maintain consistent spacing, parallelism, and depth across all sites. Robotic guidance reduces cumulative error across sequential osteotomies while preserving surgeon autonomy and workflow efficiency. Common uses include: Two- to four-units Partially edentulous arches Mixed bone density or variable anatomy within a single segment

Full arch implant rehabilitation

Yomi is well suited for full-arch treatments where accuracy, repeatability, and surgical confidence are paramount. The system supports precise implant positioning across the arch, helping clinicians execute complex restorative plans while adapting intraoperatively to bone quality, anatomy, or stability findings. Common uses include: Fixed full-arch prostheses Immediate placement and immediate load protocols Edentulous or terminal dentition cases

Dual arch cases

Shown to improve efficiency in both single and full arch cases, Yomi can help you streamline your workflow, foster your team's collaboration, and grow your practice.*

FP1 full arch cases

FP1 cases are less invasive than traditional all-on-X procedures; preserving natural gum and creating better anterior aesthetics. FP1 restorations require precise implant positioning to support natural emergence profiles, soft-tissue architecture, and aesthetic outcomes. Yomi assists clinicians in executing prosthetically driven implant placement while maintaining intraoperative control. Common uses include: Full-arch restorations without prosthetic gingival replacement Patients with favorable bone and soft-tissue conditions Cases requiring precise emergence profile management

Future indications we’re working on

The Yomi platform evolves with each advancement in clinical science. New procedures and expanded indications are under development to meet the demands of modern practice.

Setting a new treatment standard for alveoloplasty

Yomi Bone Reduction

Yomi Bone Reduction is a comprehensive planning and surgical solution designed to help clinical teams perform alveoloplasty confidently and efficiently. Tap into the precision and accuracy of robotic assistance for this critical phase of many full-arch cases. Our CT-based solution makes it easy to achieve the smooth ridge that’s necessary for predictable, long-lasting restorative outcomes – without a physical guide.

Now fully supported by Yomi

FP1 full arch cases

FP1 cases are less invasive than traditional all-on-X procedures; preserving natural gum and creating better anterior aesthetics. FP1 restorations require precise implant positioning to support natural emergence profiles, soft-tissue architecture, and aesthetic outcomes. Yomi assists clinicians in executing prosthetically driven implant placement while maintaining intraoperative control.

Robotic guidance supports accurate depth, angulation, and spacing across the arch, helping clinicians align surgical execution with restorative objectives. Intraoperative flexibility allows adjustments based on anatomy or bone quality without deviating from the treatment plan.
